Danbury (April 2, 2019) – Union Savings Bank announces the addition of Robert Monti as Senior Vice President, Residential and Consumer Lending. He will be based in Danbury at the 126 North Street branch.

As SVP, Residential and Consumer Lending, Monti is responsible for managing the mortgage area including consumer loans, overseeing the origination, underwriting and developing and executing applicable growth, quality, diversification and profitability strategies.
He brings nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining Union Savings Bank, Monti served as the SVP, Residential Lending Sales Manager and SVP, Residential Lending Operations Manager at Farmington Bank; the government underwriting manager at Webster Bank; and the Assistant Vice President at Wachovia Mortgage Corp., where he managed the Northeast wholesale division. Monti graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance.
Monti has earned his Direct Endorsed Underwriter Certification and VA Lender Appraisal Processing Program Approval, and he sits on the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association Board of Directors.
A resident of Southington, Monti is a member of the Greater Hartford Board of Realtors and Mid-State Association of Realtors.
